Tailoring the ideal work environment to keep employees safe from COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way businesses operate. Depending on your business model, you’ve had to adjust processes to help workers stay safe. The size of your staff and the nature of your business have a big effect on the level of effort it has taken to make this happen.

As the second wave of the pandemic is upon us, here’s a reminder of the recommended ways to help your employees stay safe and healthy during COVID-19.

Limit Interaction as Much as Possible

One of the easiest ways to help prevent the spread of COVID is by reducing the amount of contact employees have with each other. This means allowing staff to work from home, if possible. Require Masks and Personal Protective Equipment.

Enforce Social Distancing

Clean and Disinfect Often

Frequently touched surfaces should be wiped down regularly to avoid the spread of germs. In addition, thorough deep cleaning of the entire workspace is recommended to help limit the spread of COVID-19.

Encourage Hand Washing

Right now and during any cold and flu season, hand washing is one of the number one ways to stay healthy. Remind employees to wash their hands often, especially before eating or touching their face. Keep bathrooms and handwashing stations well-stocked with supplies.
